A little bit of Israel in Orlando
This is not your NY deli, so if you are thinking pastrami sandwich and chopped liver, you have come to the wrong place.
This is Middle Eastern food, Israel style, all Kosher, and I do mean “real” kosher, you can just ask Rabbi Yossef Konikov yourself if you don’t believe me.
Everything I have tasted here is great. You can see all sorts of Israeli expats eating here.
My personal favorite is the Kuffta Kabob (also spelled Kofta)on pita. I take mine with everything; just tell them to go easy on the hot sauce, they do get a bit carried away with it.
The falafel is also a must try. Most people only know the Arab version, but let me tell you something, the Israeli one is fabulous, just delicious. So if you have never had one, just must come here.
They have all the Mexican sodas (orange Fanta is my favorite) that are made with actual sugar cane sugar. It does make all the difference in taste.
If you have never had the Mexican sodas, well, this is your chance.
I know my family was Jewish at some time in the past, maybe that’s why I love this food so much.
They also offer more “Americanized” kosher dishes, so feel free to bring the kids.
So next time you are in Orlando and you close to Universal Studios, skip the fast food joint, and stop at Kosher grill on I drive for a bite.
